The Japanese car industry has reduced CO2 emissions by 23% over the past 20 years. On the other hand, unfortunately, 🇺🇸 + 9%, 🇩🇪 + 3%, and then 🇳🇱 and 🇫🇷🇬🇧. Western countries are pushing electric cars only, but they are far from being carbon neutral. But the reality is that, at present, the rest of the world is far from Japan. Toyota is going all-in, and is stopping short of chasing only electric cars, but also hybrids, hydrogen cars, etc., with an eye on an uncertain future.
